As is common in the travel industry, I sometimes receive complimentary travel or media rates at hotels, resorts and attractions. I also sometimes receive complimentary products to review. When I do, I disclose such offers in my posts as is required by Federal Trade Regulations.
Please know that whether I accept these complimentary or media rates, or pay regular or publicly discounted rates, my reviews and articles are ALWAYS fair and impartial. I hold myself to the highest journalistic standards and will never be a paid shill for any product or destination.
When conducting my reviews, they are solely based upon my experience at the time and one basic question: “Would I recommend this to my best friend or family member and ask them to spend their hard-earned money on it?” I won’t recommend the item to you, the reader, if the answer to that is not a resounding “Yes!”
While I hope that you enjoy reading my reviews, I cannot be held responsible if you do not have the same experience with a property, destination, attraction or travel product. If you don’t, I certainly welcome your comments to that effect.
