Travel Around the Web – Week of January 23, 2010
Posted by Michelle Snow under: travel links carnival .
A little link love for some interesting travel-related articles and other reads I’ve encountered in my journeys around the internet recently. Enjoy…
- As an avid couchsurfer, I enjoyed Roberto and Bianca’s summary of their recent visit by two Israelis on Mojotrotters.
- An ongoing debate looms as Air France Frets Over How to Seat the Obese
- Wondering where Elvis’ high school is or where the mall used in the movie Dawn of the Dead is located? Then check out the pop culture location finder at Where It’s At.
- Ever wanted a Bud Light to go with that BK burger? If you’re visiting Miami’s South Beach, you’ll soon be able to when Burger King rolls out their new 24/7 Whopper Bar this spring. I’m not so surprised that beer will be available at a BK, but that anyone in fashion conscious SoBe would even think of eating a Whopper.
- Speaking of 24/7 dining, Tom Gates goes all out in Matador Network’s Buenos Aires Binge Eating 101.
- Check out this cool mountain bike that folds into a backpack. How handy would that be for hikers and the like? (via Artsy Spot)

Glad you liked our diary. Couchsurfing brought some really unforgettable people to our lives, and will continue doing so as we travel around the world. A lot of wonderful stories waiting to be told.
